The "Category Five" in the CAT5 Network Cable refers to five different quality levels set by the International Electrical Association for twisted pair cables. Since the information transmission speeds of the five quality levels are different, I will introduce the speeds of the CAT5E Lan Cable of unshielded twisted pairs below. According to international regulations, Cat5E Cable can be divided into Category 3, Category 4, Category 5, CAT6 Lan Cable, Category 5, and Category 6. The network speeds of different categories are different. Because the optical fiber of the unshielded twisted pair Ethernet Cable is wrapped with a layer of insulating colloidal material, the network cable is not susceptible to external interference and the transmission speed is relatively fast. Under normal circumstances, the transmission speed of a Category 5 network cable can reach 10 Mbps, such as Category 3, Category 4, and Category 5 can achieve such a network speed, while the three types of network cables such as Category 5, Category 6, and Category 6 can reach such network speeds. The transmission speed can be faster, like the fastest Super Category 6 network cable can reach 16Mbps, which is already a very high network speed.
